Mere Mortals
Fashioned in clay.
From the earth,
Back to the earth.
A king once said: ‘What is man that Thou art mindful of him’

Homeward Bound

Bound to a place. Bound to returning for the show. Bound to my family. The
bounds of home. Limitations. Boundaries. What constitutes the home? Which
direction? The unique, individual home of our memories (and memories
inflicted upon us).
Sheltered/Exposed. Sentimentality fragmented.
Reversals/Inverses. Turn aways.
Fears/Truths. Full-body-masks.
Collision of the comfortable and the uncanny. Bounding towards the
unknowable.
Homeward: Nostalgia (perpendicular loops in the same direction).
