About Us

Chambers Art Gallery is a Fine Art Gallery and Resident Artist Studio Space nestled within the CBD of Christchurch. The gallery exhibits the work of leading, new and emerging New Zealand artists, representing artists and their original art across a range of practices; painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture, drawing and installation. 

The Gallery was opened in 2011 by Ronald Mottram and Warren Feeney. The gallery, since then, has been managed by (at various stages) Sharnaé Beardsley, Ronald Mottram and Julie Williams until 2026, when Tim Middleton took over the reins.
