Bennett continues to use the language of way-finding and navigating to explore social and environmental woes. Over time questions have re-occurred: – Where are we going? What and where are the tipping points?

Using playthings and devices of the past for finding and selecting pathways Bennett’s work infers that contradictory messages abound, selective attention prevails, and manipulation is inherent in decision making.

When issues confront us choices are available. Take heed: recognize and respond to catastrophe’s warning signs.

We are at a crossroad – this situation has arisen primarily through practices that prioritize short-term economic growth over long-term environmental sustainability.
