Artist statement

The recent two works ‘Blue Light”  and ’Small Song/ Gold’ are mixed media pieces

made in encaustic technique.

Layering with hot wax, fusing each layer and integrating pigments and pastels.

This ancient technique appeals to me with its intensity of colour, transparency and scope

to integrate into my search into Abstraction.

I explore Light in colour and abstraction .
