It’s ok to want nice things, we all want nice things. But here is a right way about getting them
Wayne Youle (Ngā Puhi, Ngāti Whakeeke, Ngāti Pākehā) completed a Bachelor of Design at Wellington’s Polytechnic School of Design (1999). He works as a sculptor, printmaker, painter and installation artist, frequently making use of found materials, commenting upon and critiquing issues around biculturalism. His work is as humourous as it is subversive, addressing questions about identity and race. Youle was the recipient of the 2010 Rita Angus Residency and exhibits nationally and internationally, including America, Australia and the United Kingdom. His work is held in the collections of Te Papa Tongarewa, the Auckland Art Gallery and Christchurch Art Gallery.
